Collaborate without boundaries

I cannot believe it....

My dare on Friday was to show honor and respect to my husband that is beyond my normal routine. I chose to clean the truck and somehow let him know how proud I am that he was able to provide this transportation. (It was purchased new...I have always had vehicles that break down often.) Once he got over the fact I was not going to sit down and watch a movie with him, he came out and began helping me. It was very pleasant, and I was able to tell him how proud I was and that I wanted the truck to reflect that.

I was gone most of the day Saturday, and Sunday was the beginning of revival at my church. I work in the nursery and he works in security. I am so excited to report that we did not have any harsh words at all...and this morning he actually helped me get ready for work without complaining about the cleanliness of the house! Hallelujah!

  • Great things happened. Give God all the thanks for that.

It's great you both didn't have any harsh words. But remember, you never have to match his harsh words.

  • Great news. Let him know that you enjoyed the day and it was refreshing.
