Day 12 Done

Putting my husband's preference before my own, I told him I would be going to bed but to continue watching his movie as long as he wanted. Our bedroom is combined with the living room since my daughter and her two boys moved in. I do not like sleeping with a TV on...it not only disturbs the sleep rhythm--it makes it so hard to go to sleep. It is strange...but now he doesn't want to stay up. He will go to bed as soon as I do, and turn the TV off!

  • Dare completed.  And a kind response from him.  Thank God for that.

Are you doing a dare a day?

  • Great that it worked out like that. I don't like the tv on either but my wife used to always fall asleep with the tv on. If I could go back in time I would never complain about it.

  • Tim, I am trying to get back to a dare a day. The Christmas break/being sick messed me up....and then we had almost a week off school due to holiday and snow. I have made it two days in a row, though, so I may be back on track!

Eddie, thank you. Yes, and I must realize that even though he is so very thoughtful and just doesn't do things that he knows I don't like--I have to pay attention to them. I have no idea if I am making him miserable....
