Collaborate without boundaries

Day 30 Love Brings Unity

  • Comments 2

Today's Dare was to isolate one area of division in your marriage and pray about it. I saw it right away on pg 149 of the Love Dare book. It stated, " What would your marriage become if you were never again willing to see your oneness torn apart? Boom..there was the conviction....I know God has forgiven me yet it reminded me of how it was my idea to walk away. Yes, I've had a change of heart due to the Holy Spirit yet I left...I caused division. I choose unity Lord and no longer any division. I choose addition...addition of love, forgiveness, gentleness, peace, tenderness, understanding, and both being led by the Holy Spirit and not our flesh which causes division.

  • If you are feeling any guilt or sorrow over leaving. Stop right now. You have seeked and received forgiveness.  Evil wants you to look in the past at things gone wrong.  That is not what God wants.  He wants us to only look at Him. So, if you are being tempted to feel bad about anything from the past, tell evil to leave and go back to where it belongs.

Not saying I think you are feeling any guilt  or continued sorrow from the past, but just  make sure you are seeking His  peace and  joy, the gifts He wants you to have  in all circumstances.

  • Sounds like you have come full circle. It's amazing that you walked away but now see the love of God. That's what most of the rest of us are praying for in our spouses. The power of God is amazing. You should feel no sorrow because your God is a forgiving God. I'm sure angels rejoiced when you repented. Continue to live for Christ.

Study the fruits of the spirit and incorporate them into your life everyday.

" But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

    Galatians 5:22-23
