Day 11 - Thawing the Iceberg

I could not go through with this one. I had worked all day long and ran errands even after work. Even if I had time to go through with the dare, there was no way that he'd even let me close to him. He will make sure that there is always space between us. He keeps me at a distance on purpose to avoid any sort of physical contact. He would not have appreciated me giving him a "tender touch" in the slightest. I just vented and journaled a little bit on this dare. Maybe I can come back to it in the future but as of right now, I do not see any way that I'll be able to accomplish this one.

  • Could you have ran an errand for him while you were out and about with your errands?  Could you have done something on your lunch break?  As busy as we all are, there is usually something we can find to do when we read the dare early in the day and pray on it.  God often opens the door for a dare to be done when we see no way to accomplish it.

It is usually us, our doubts, our fears, our lack of desire, and our expectations of them not accepting a dare that keep us really from doing the dares.
