Days gone ny

So the past few days have been strange. My husband has decided to stay.I am elated but very unsure of anything. He acts like his old self but something is different. I still don't know what guy I get each evening because this is new. Maybe he is trying to find his place but I don't know. God is still off the table but I will start round 2 when he gets back from his business trip.

  • Consider doing round two right now. Maybe God has the dares ordered in such a way to fall on the right days for you.  I know it is easier and seems more logical to do them when he is present.

Your old husband is still in there.  He doesn't know what he is thinking much of the time, so don't worry about figuring out what's going on in his mind.

Even if he thinks he knows what's going on, that doesn't mean God won't change his thinking in the days and months ahead.

Don't worry about figuring him out but praise and thank God he is staying.  Great news indeed.

  • Let God know you are grateful he is staying, but so much more grateful for Him.  Continue to show patience and kindness as much as ever.

  • Continue to grow in Christ. I think the tendency is to let faith slip when things are going well. So as things improve go to God even more. Thank Him for everything. He was with you this whole time. Remember that.

If you set the example your husbands chances are much improved. Be Christ-like and let God work on your husband.

Here's what the Bible says from 1 Peter 3:1-6:

1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,  2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.  3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—  4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.  5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,  6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.
