Round 5 Day 36

Round 5 Day 36:
A day where the dare was done, and was done fairly early.  The second sentence in the dare refers to getting a book or devotional or some sort of guide to help study.  Well yesterday I was drawn to buy "Mere Christianity" at church, so maybe thats the way it will go!
Emily called while I was filling up my car tires, so I missed the call.  Her voicemail wasnt the nicest, but not the most venom I have heard from her.  She made the assumption that I would call her today to let her know if I was taking the kids.  Her venom was that she could see that the kids werent first on my brain.  She went on to say that she didnt know when I would be taking the kids again, so she couldnt tell them.  She told me to call her and let her know, and that she is frustrated because I am not communicating with her.  This was the first phone call I had from her all weekend!
I did some shopping and some cleaning, and around 3pm I was just extremely tired, so I laid down for a nap.  I didnt sleep well, and didnt dream well.  I expressed some frustration in prayer, when I got up.
I didnt get all my shopping done, so I went again a little after dinner time.  Emily called me and I answered.  She wanted me to take the kids for around an hour so she could do something.  I was shopping, and had planned out my evening already, so I declined.  She asked when I would be taking them again and I told her on Tuesday, which is what I normally do anyways.  I wonder what will happen in the future if we end up with a custody agreement.  I have a feeling that no matter how much time I am awarded or agree to, that she will want me to take them more.
Got home and unpacked the bags.  I read the first chapter in Luke tonight and put in Passion of the Christ.  Simple and peaceful end of the day.  Going to pray for her heavily tonight, she needs it so much.

  • Why a custody agreement? It seems you have them as much as she does. And if not close to it. You guys have been doing fine with it on your own other than her venomous moments. Pray about it, then take it from there.
