Day 50 Love is unconditional

Since the first round this dare has changed me through Him. I read the dare and have prayed for the Lord to help me with the dare. When we first moved into the house my wife made a comment or suggestion about some light fixtures being moved around. Of course I was to busy to be bothered. So today I moved them around the way she said. She does not live here any more but she will be here tomorrow morning to get our daughter before I head out East. I have prepped the kegfridge for her and all of our daughters belongings are ready to go. This is me doing things for her just because it feels good doing them for her.

  • This is also Him continually preparing you and molding you in His image.

  • "just because it feels good doing them for her". What happens when you start falling? Things that do not feel good won't happen. This is why we must learn to lead our hearts and not follow it. When we lead our heart we are able to lead our emotions and by doing so even the more difficult things become easier. We need to learn to lead so our emotions and feelings catch up!

  • Sean, that is the meaning behind those words.  I am leading my heart in these matters.  This is what I meant by my post a couple of days to you and Libby.  Even in rejection it feels good doing nice things because I choose to love through Him.

  • That's awesome! Praise God! You showed some unconditional love. One day at a time. One dare at a time.

  • Sometimes it is more that if feels "right" ( as He would direct) and not "good".  Fruit of the Spirit will have most definitely lead us all to feel joy with giving. Gal. 5:22-23. :{o ( that is a mustache, Word lol)
