Day 210: Love is unconditional

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.—Romans 5:8

TODAY’S DARE Do something out of the ordinary today for your spouse—something that proves (to you and to them) that your love is based on your choice and nothing else. Wash her car. Clean the kitchen. Buy his favorite dessert. Fold the laundry. Demonstrate love to them for the sheer joy of being their partner in marriage.

--MB texted me earlier today telling me that she had to leave early for a haircut appointment right after the bell rung after school. So I was not able to see her when I picked-up the kids.

Just a prayer for today: Dear Father God, thank you so much for loving me. Thank you for blessing me so much. Thank you for giving me grace and showing me what true love is.  Sometimes it is hard for me to feel close to You, but I know that faith is more than a feeling, more than what I know, I believe it is within my heart and You Father God know my heart more than I do. Father God, thank you for taking time to reveal things to me, convict me, comfort me, and teach me; it is through these trials and experiences with You by my side that my relationship grows.  And thank you for unconditional love. You are the best example of what unconditional love is.  I pray that I can continue to love Mary Beth like you love me.  I pray that I can love Mary Beth unconditionally.  May your Holy Spirit help me along the way in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I am thankful to our God for: being able to help Bella with math homework; having the kids home again; and having an accountant that is very helpful.
