Day 205: Love is not rude

He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be reckoned a curse to him.—Proverbs 27:14

TODAY’S DARE Ask your spouse to tell you three things that cause him or her to be uncomfortable or irritated with you. You must do so without attacking them or justifying your behavior. This is from their perspective only.

--Today I was able to see MB. We met half way so that I can give her Bella’s horse gear. It was uneventful, I was kind and respectful as normal.

Just a prayer for today:  Dear Father God, thank you for helping me with respect.  Thank you for my wife Mary Beth. She is a true blessing from You. I pray that I will always honor her with my words and actions, even when I am disappointed or frustrated with the current situation. Father God, You tell me in Your word that if I do not honor and respect my wife that my prayers will be hindered and I don’t want my lack of honor for her to get in the way of my relationship with You, Father God. Keep this truth in my heart always Father God.  I pray that you bless our marriage Father God, I trust You in control. I ask that You remove the blinders from our eyes so we can see truth and walk courageously in it. Father God, thank You for your faithfulness. Thank you that You watch over Your Word to perform it. Thank you that You are at work within us causing us to desire and to do Your will. You are the Lord, Almighty, and if You are for us, who can be against us? We love you, Lord, and we entrust our marriage to you.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen

I am thankful to our God for: working through several chores with the kids today; being able to sleep in today; and playing basketball with Lincoln.
