Day 3: Love is not selfish

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. —Romans 12:10

Whatever you put your time, energy, and money into will become more important to you. It’s hard to care for something you are not investing in. Along with restraining from negative comments, buy your spouse something that says, “I was thinking of you today.”

--Day 3 was buy your spouse something that says, “I was thinking of you today.”  I bought her a $10 gift card to Starbucks and gave it to her.  She likes Starbucks.  She was tough to read weather she like it or not.  She seemed a little tense with the kids around, so not sure.  It’s not too much, right?

I plan to keep going, one a day.  Tomorrow I plan to call her (day 4) since I will not see her and ask how she is doing and ask if there is anything I could fix, put together, tighten, adjust, etc. for her.

Praying God continues his work!

  • Not to worry. It’s not to much. And yes, one dare a day, don’t read ahead. After you complete the dares, go prayer first praise for its completion. Then seek out the wisdom for Gods purpose if that dare and what it means in your walk with Him.

  • As Sean said.  do not read ahead.  When done with a dare, let the  next days dare be read the next day.  God isn't  done working in the day's dare yet.
