I woke my wife up by rubbing her head. As she was waking up I sat down on the end of the bed and started scratching her legs. She really enjoyed it.
I made us both coffee and put all the dishes up and straighted up the living room while she was getting dress. After waking up my son and getting him ready I asked her and him what are three things that I do that bother you and I need to work on.
She was taken back a little by this and kept trying to remember where she heard this before. We watched FireProof together boy howdy that was a close one. Well I left for work and told her to think about during the day and I would ask again when I come home for work.
Later around midday I had a short break and I decided to give a quick call to say hi and see how her day was going. Well I wasn't able to get ahold of her, but a few minutes later she texted me "what's up". I replied by stating what I was feeling and said "Nothing. I just wanted to say hi and see how your day is going and listen to your lovely voice. I really miss you and can't wait to see when I get home". She replied back "Awwwwww Sweet" this was a big thing to me.
I took off work early so I could get home and start helping with the kids. She is having a girls night out with a friend and I am watching all the kids. Ages 4 to 13 six kids in all.
So before she left I sat down with her and asked her again what are the three things. She replied:
These are not a surprise and I have been working on them. It tells me two things. First I am listening and paying attention because I am focusing on the right things. Secondly, I need to work harder at it because I have been focusing on these for over a month.
One day at a time.

On this journey you need to bring this into your daily understanding. Compare it to your dares.
For example. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. When you humble yourself to do so, you will not be so serious... I do not want to get to far into it because it would cause me jumping ahead. But I think you get the point. Also, commit these to prayer...
