  • My ex came in town yesterday and I was able to discuss it with him in person. I asked about the 3 things and his response was that I didn't follow through with intimacy or showing love towards him, I spoke over him and didn't listen and we never agreed on anything. He asked me mine were I told him he put work ahead of everything, he didn't attempt to love me the way I needed and when it came to intimacy it lacked romance. It went smoother than I thought in previous times while married we would try to discuss things like this and it would turn into a fight and end worse than it began. He told me he loved me and wants us to be together and be a family again. I am in awe of God and how quickly He has turned this around. I honestly thought it would take longer than this for him to trust me and want to even consider being together. I am thankful for what God is doing and refuse to give up on what He has for my relationship with my ex-husband and my family. 35 days to go...Praying for everyone on this journey and restoration on ourselves, our marriages and families.

  • Welcome.  Look at this as a journey between you and Christ not you and him.  He will be used as a tool to mold you.  Do a dare a day, no more no less.  Do not read ahead in the dares.  Except the appendix, especially about leading the heart.  have no expectations from him when you do the dares.

Things can get worse before it gets better.  But maybe you have already been through that.

That's great he is interested in reconciliation.  But you were called to the dares instead of him.  So, even if it appears things are being restored, do the dares the best you can without manipulating them.
