Honestly, this is probably the first time I have ever picked up the Bible just to read it.  I've read it in school & back in the day at youth groups, but it wasn't the same.  I opened to Proverbs & it was as if everything written there was written there for me.  Amazing :)

The timing of this dare was perfect!  God is never late, right?!  I was a bit disappointed when my husband left before dinner to go out & before you knew it my friend called to see if it was OK to stop by.  It was as if God had intended it that way.  She came by, we talked watched a movie & she made me remember all the positives...she was an Angel to me :)  Just as she left, about 5 minutes later my husband walked in- BEFORE 10PM!!!!!!  I was surprised to see him home so early, but I was also kind of relieved.  But he didn't seem to be too happy to be home & decided to ignore me.  So I finished up what I was doing (baking) and I came upstairs to read some passages... it was no doubt the most perfect timing!  Before I could make myself too crazy reading into everything, before I got too caught up in him, I started reading & immediately felt a sense of calm pass over me!

Honestly, I kind of worry since my 40 days are almost up and I am not sure where we stand.... but on the other hand, I just keep reminding myself that God knows what He is doing and to be patient.  I know one thing for sure, once these 40 days are over I will be starting again :)  It's just a good reminder of how to live life with God by your side... A lot of things my husband does/doesn't do confuse me...but a few verses from Proverbs and I understand that Wisdom & understanding can only be attained by trusting in the Lord.

When you start the dares over, always look back to things you may have missed or even were short on. Christ is molding you, and I am sure there will be new insight to each dare.
