I am posting this a day late, however day 3 was Valentines Day. This was our first Valentines day apart in 10 years, and actually it was 10 years ago that I proposed.
Any way, I did sent her a dozen roses as I have every Valentines Day since we met. But in order to fulfil my day 3 dare, I decided to make her dinner and went all out with chocolate covered strawberries as well. I wasn't sure she would accept the invite for dinner, but she did. Now one of the main reasons for our seperations is her feeling controlled by me. So in order to be sure she didn't feel that way, I was sure to let her now our daughters were going to have dinner with us at our home. She accepted and we had a great dinner and she stayed to help get the girls ready for bed.
It was a nice evening and she thanked me for everything I did that day for her. It was a good day for a change.
Praise God for that day...
The dares are going to get hard. But keep this in the back of your mind.... Christ is molding you more each day in His image. This will open to you the humbleness needed to love Christ first in order to love your wife better.
