I called my husband today and talked to him about some things. One thing was Easter. I would really love to spend the holiday with him, but he is spending it with his family and he hasn't asked me to join. I explained to him that I would love to join him for the day. His response was, "ok." Since we are 4 hours away from each other right now I was not able to touch him in a tangible was, I just told him that I love him at the end of the conversations. He responded, "ok" and hung up the phone very quickly. I prayed after.
I thank God for this day. I am trying my very best to listen to God and do what he is asking me to do. That is most important to me. I want to please God whether my husband is happy with all the love I'm pouring on him or not. I'm choosing to love my husband because that is what God wants me to do.
