My bf gifted me a high-heeled sandal and I was really excited to wear that to my office. I loved wearing high-heels. I got dressed up in the morning and was rushing downstairs with my new sandals. I missed a step and lost my balance.

I could literally feel the ankle twisting beneath me and it was really painful. I ignored the pain and went to my office. Still, the pain was there. So, I consulted a doctor in the evening. The doctor advised me to be careful with my ankle and to avoid putting excessive weight on it. He also advised me to avoid wearing high heels and gave me some painkillers.

This gave only temporary relief and am planning to purchase custom made foot orthotics from Burlington. Is this effective? Is there anybody over here who have experienced similar situations? Please share.
