Dustin and I have issues with communication so I am going to do my best to do this dare so we can talk.
Sean how do I shut out my emotions so to speak with the decisions that he makes now? He stated today he is going to sell all his preaching clothes on ebay. I have prayed over them in hopes he wont sell them. Every aspect of life when it doesn't involve church and the things of our old life continually wear on me. I have lost my energy to work out, to dress up and that is ultimatly who I am. This burden is wearing on me...and I know its Gods burden to carry but his actions affect me everyday. I have good days where I say, that I asked Dustin to leave and caused this but now hes making the choice not to do Gods call on his life. How do I separate the two?
Well I found Ishiah 11:3...God never based his decisions off of emotions or feelings...so if he sells his preaching clothes so what! We will just buy more!
I will not let the devil try to get me to give up.
Vanessa....
Remember, this is a journey that Christ put in your hands. Right now, you must focus on your journey. These problems you are concerned with are coming (believe it or not) a selfish desire. This is the way you want it. What if it is Gods will for you to become a testimony, your husband get back on track through that testimony and have the both of you continue serving Him through sharing your story and not being a preacher? Are you willing to accept that?
You need to leave your husband to Christ. Right now you are not one... That oneness can only come through Christ. So, realize your selfish nature at the moment.
With that, you need to be concerned about your walk and your journey. Pray for Gods will in your husbands life and yours.
There is much more molding from Christ in the coming days.
Okay I'm going to refocus. You are so right. I had to stop and reread this a few times and think Vanessa you are going off of what Dustin did not what Christ may be leading you into. Yes I can accept that of course. Ive just been wrapped up in him not having salvation.
Yes you are right, even thought I have the right thoughts they are selfish!
And that is good worrying about his salvation. And you know what.... That is a great prayer. Pray for Gods will in his life, and for his salvation... Thats it. Nothing selfish there.
