This dare was difficult for me during this round. Not being able to see my husband or enter our home, makes it difficult to do something that says I cherish you. I feel like the only thing that I can do is buy him stuff. I don't want to always be buying him stuff. I want to do his laundry for him, I want to clean the house for him, I want to serve my husband, I want to make him dinner, I want to give him back rubs, I want to help out with yard work, I want to be the wife that God intented for me to be... but I can't. The only thing that I could think of was to buy him a massage. I have gone around to a couple of places to check out the rooms, but since it was the weekend some places were not open. Therefore, I have not comleted this dare, but I have GREAT ideas for what I do want to do to cherish my husband!
Sometimes, you won't be able to complete the dare and that's OK... I am in a similar situation where my husband doesn't live with me. But, when I do see him I make sure that he feels cherished & loved through my actions & words...
I also know how you feel about always buying him something... it is hard, but somehow with God, it always works out :)
Be creative...That is all part of it. Christ wants you to take the time away from the obvious!
