Considering my spouse in on vacation for a couple weeks and I'm working, take care of the kids, and doing everything at home, I'm pretty sure this qualifies as Love Cherishes :)
She needed some time to get away and think and I'm happy to be able to do that for her. It's tough when she's not at home, I really miss her already and it's only day 3 of 14. It is nice to be able to hang out with my kids and get their full attention, I'm not sure they are too thrilled about Dad doing laundry (especially my daughter, she's worried about her clothes :), but they will get used to it.
We had a great weekend despite how nasty the weather is outside right now. I've got a busy week ahead and will only have a couple hours at home with them each night until Friday. Wish me luck!
