I just read Day 11. There are many things I can do to try to help my wife feel cherished: Fold & put away clothes, give her some alone time, load dishwasher, mow lawn. But these are things I should be doing anyway. My biggest struggle right now is to help my wife feel secure financially since I lost my job. I am a teacher and my contract was not renewed, so the good part of that is that I get paid through the summer. I have applied for a number of teaching positions, but so far have not gotten an interview. I have lots of experience in other areas too: computers, technology, sales, owning a business, but I am not sure what direction God wants me to go toward. I have also struggled with depression. Need prayer to hold it together....
MP, See that you are new here. Glad to see you found the forums.
This book and the dares you do have put you on a new journey. A journey with Christ. And you will see things that allow you to see things in a much different light. Including not worrying about things, and allowing him to work in your life.
How are things since you started?
