I made sure the house work was done and I took the second half of the day off work to sit at home with our sick daughter while my wife took the first half of the day off. I used to never take off work for stuff like that so it was a good change.
I took some time today to put together a slide show movie on the computer to give to my wife on Mothers Day. I burnt it to DVD and put it in her Bible so she will see it when I am not there.
Making that video really tore me up inside and my wife called while I was a mess to check on our daughter. I asked her if she was stopping by and she asked why. I couldn't talk for the tears and I told her I was having a bad day. She said she would stop by when she got off. I text her back about an hour later and told her I was better and she didn't need to come but she came anyway. I told her again that I was sorry for all of this and she said she would be there for help but there can be no "Us" right now. I told her thanks and she hugged me before she left and I believe that was prayers answered. She actually held me for a bit instead of just a quick hug.
That is God at work.
Otty... God always answers prayers. It is not that we always get a yes. But remember he is never late.
I have to tell you. Your journey has been a tough one, but you have come so far, and I believe (and keep in my prayers) that you are on the way to the true happiness you desire so much.
