  • This is my 2nd attempt at doing this, the first time I didn't even show enough patients to make it past day 20.  My reason for starting a second time is not to blame my spouse for her decisions, but to turn to God and seek his help in training me to be the best husband, father and son.  Did I and do I struggle with patients, Yes!  I will humbly admit I have not always said the best things to my spouse.  I followed the instructions and though in tears and full of pain refrained from hurtful comments.

  • Welcome. this will be a journey, between you and Christ, not you and her.  She will be used as a tool to mold you.  do a dare a day, no more, no less.  Do not read ahead in the book other than the appendix, especially about leading the heart.  Have no expectations of her when you do the dares.

As you mentioned, seek God in this round of the dares.

If you can, try posting in the  love dare community section of this site.  It gets read more and possibly others will respond to you as well.   Click on your name on the top right hand side of the page, and I believe a red link will show up on the right side, about a third of the way down, click on it and then click on the journal section.

If  you can't find that  section come back to this  section of the site.
